Does the app send my camera footage to the internet?
No. All pose detection and Grace Score computation happens entirely on your device. No video, images, or body data leave your iPhone or iPad.
Is Ghoongroo a replacement for a Kathak teacher?
No — Ghoongroo is a practice companion, not a substitute for learning under a qualified Kathak guru. We recommend using it alongside formal training.
Which taals does the app support?
Ghoongroo currently includes Teental (16 beats), Jhaptal (10 beats), and Ektaal (12 beats). More taals may be added in future updates.
How is the Grace Score calculated?
Grace Score = (Posture Accuracy × 60%) + (Step Accuracy × 25%) + (Timing Precision × 15%). Chakkar spins add a 5-point bonus each.
What iOS version does Ghoongroo require?
Ghoongroo requires iOS 16.0 or later and is available only on iPhone and iPad. It is not available on macOS, Android, or any other devices.
