What We Collect

Ghoongroo collects only what is strictly necessary to provide posture analysis, Grace Score computation, and practice history. Nothing more.

What the App accesses

Camera & Pose Data Real-time body landmarks via Apple Vision. Processed entirely on-device — no frames or images ever leave your phone.

Practice Session Records Date, duration, Taal selected, Grace Score & metric breakdown, and insight annotations — saved locally only.

Audio Playback Tabla & Taal audio. The app does not record your voice or any ambient audio from the microphone.

Where Data Lives

All data is stored locally on your iPhone or iPad. Nothing is transmitted to any external server, ever.

Session data is saved using iOS secure local storage
All data is protected by iOS device encryption
Data never leaves your device under any circumstance
No cloud sync — not to iCloud, not to our servers
Neither Anushka Sharma nor any third party can access your data

03 / DATA SHARING

Data Sharing & Third Parties

We do not share your data with anyone.

No data is transmitted to our servers
No advertising SDKs or networks receive any data
No analytics services track your usage
No tracking libraries are embedded in the App

The only external interaction that may occur: if you have enabled Share iPhone & iPad Analytics in iOS Settings, Apple may receive anonymized crash logs. This is controlled entirely by you in iOS Settings, not by Ghoongroo. See Apple's Privacy Policy for details.

04 / ON-DEVICE AI

On-Device AI Processing

Ghoongroo uses Apple's on-device frameworks for all AI inference. The Grace Score Engine, pose analysis, and Insight Engine run entirely on your iPhone or iPad — no data is sent to external AI services.

Your camera feed and pose data are processed by frameworks running locally. No data is sent to any external AI model or cloud service.

05 / RETENTION & DELETION

Data Retention

All practice data remains on your device until you delete it
You can clear your history within the App settings
Deleting Ghoongroo from your iPhone or iPad permanently removes all associated data
We retain no copies — because nothing ever left your device

Your Rights

You have complete, direct control over all data Ghoongroo stores:

Access

View all your practice data within the App at any time.

Delete

Remove individual sessions or all data at any time.

Portability

Session data is accessible via standard iOS backup.

Control

Revoke camera access anytime via iOS Settings.

07 / CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Children's Privacy

Ghoongroo does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. The App requires no account, transmits no data, and contains no in-app purchases, advertising, or social features — making it inherently safe for younger users under parental supervision.

If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at the address below and we will promptly address the concern.

08 / POLICY CHANGES

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy occasionally. Changes will be reflected with an updated "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.

For significant changes, we may display an in-app notification.
